I watched the British Cycling coaches make their youth track riders ride round Manchester velodrome in the other direction. Suddenly these rapid youngsters, a couple of whom are now in the World Tour, couldn't ride properly at all.

Amazingly only the towels and jeans needed the attention of the spin dryer.
Got dragged round to sort out a new Virgin media router for the neighbour who is not all there. Working but no internet connection. Has a white lead which indicates VM need to activate the router.

Just swept and mopped all the floors. I use hot water for mopping: this seems to warm the flat.

I didn't fall asleep during the Grand Prix, but that may be because I muted the sound and had the football on the radio at the same time.

Having seen the weather forecast for Monday, I don't think there's any need for an early night.
