Postie managed a prompt delivery of a parcel which when its opened should be a new jumper etc fluff remover, my 2018 Lidl one seemingly having dier as no chabge of batteries had any effect on it.
Afternoon work visits resulted in one slightly mud splashed car so it got a wash where needed once home.
Think the washing may have dried today.

A mild and grey day here chez Casa Reynard, and we have escaped the forecast rain.

Slept well, but still feeling tired after a relatively quiet weekend. Did all the basic chores. Also had to pump up the front left tyre on the car, as I got a pressure warning on Friday when I went to town. Used the track pump to get it up to 30 psi, but I've noticed a small bulge in the sidewall. Yep, that'll have happened when I clouted a pothole the other day. New tyre time.

It's the edges of the roads that are all chewed up. Fine if there's no other traffic - you can drive in the middle. But if there's stuff coming the other way, it's sometimes difficult to avoid. Very irritating. The tyre is fine for local puttering, but I wouldn't trust it for any more than that. Hey ho, such is life.

As it wasn't raining, I went out to cut and haul more firewood. Skipped luncheon in order to do so, and to get everything that I cut under cover before the light faded. After, I popped to Littleport to drop off the parental's prescription.

I got a 10% off voucher for Zooplus in today's post. Handy, as I need to order a fresh sack of cat biscuits.

I've just had a :cuppa: and a slice of toast, and I'm just sat by the fire relaxing a bit.

Had a home IT issue this morning. Returned desk after making a coffee and a found a blank monitor. Turned out the remote control socket for which its mains plug was in was immediately flipping off. Half a shelf emptied to access the relevant extension lead.
Washing wasn't all dry but none need the timble dryer.
Was the clothes shaver complete with reams of multi language instructions. The relevant bits kept and the majority in the recycling
