It's been a grey and very mild day here chez Casa Reynard. A bit blustery, but no rain other than what we got overnight.
Slept well, but my get-up-and-go has gotten up and buggered off. Oh, the joys of the perimenopause. The morning's main task was checking my store of tomatoes and making a pot of tomato and cannellini bean soup with the salvageable ones. The non-salvageable ones went into the green bin. There are still some left, we'll see how they'll keep. Also cleared the grate and scooped the litter tray.

This afternoon's tasks included topping up all the wood bins in the house, sorting out packaging for gifts, and sorting out what needs to be gifted. I thought I had miscounted the packets of cat treats I needed, but I haven't. Just need to decide what preserves to gift.
Have also been doing a bit of work on chapter 29. I know I said I finished it, but I wasn't happy with the last section. Ergo I'm giving it some tweakage before signing it off.
