Slowly starting to feel normal, had a nice short walk to the post office. To post half the national debt in Christmas cards for Mrs 73.

If I think the recipients will welcome the idea, I send E cards, from Jacqui Lawson.
They have music and moving pictures, or just a longer note to write. You can choose your message, and add a short message.

is one I have sent and "Northern Lights".

There is an e Advent calendar as well.

There are also ones for people owned by cats (or dogs or bears). ^_^

Jeans and a thick towel ended up having a hours tumble dry. Another pair of jeans meanwhile were drying upstairs. With the lifting of the hose pipe ban I decided to give the cars wheel arches a blasting.
The hose pipe however did not take kindly to its slumbers being disturbed and on the first wheel arch promptly parted company from the trigger gun resulting in a bit of a drenching.

Went out for a short ride earlier to relieve some lower back pain; poor planning meant that I ended up having to ride the last two kilometres or so in the dark, with low cloud, on a steep winding downhill section of road I'd not ridden before.

Still, I made it: I realised I stopped doing that sort of silly thing at some point: apparently I grew up, and started planning and organising myself, so I didn't end up in this sort of situation. Prudent, yes, but I realised I'd missed the feeling I had today...
