Walk has been travelled quite chilly and very icy in places so glad I didn't go out with the bike.

New TV has been collected will sort it out later.

Very foggy

Good morning from Suffolk where the cloud is slowly clearing although not yet to the east where the sun is yet to appear.

The usual slow start to Saturday is being had with the radio, coffee and warmth of the duvet. All that's to be done today is to pop out to my sister's to drop off her cards ready for when she and brother in law return from their break in Morocco. I will be using the back roads round the top of Ipswich due to the shopping traffic and football crowds.

I'm on the 136 to drop off a Christmas card. Then I'll be on the 136 halfway home to drop off another card. Then I'll be on whichever bus comes first another half of the way home to buy some more Christmas cards. I wonder which bus will come first.

Murky and 3, clearing and temp raising slowly.
Touched up the grey handrail on the staircase and puzzled how I had splashed paint on a carpet pad. Then tidying up noticed some paint on the underside of the paint tin, cleared that away only for more to appear. The tin had a hole in it ! Quickly bagged and binned.
Thence car bound - charity shop for the final book dropoff plus two utensil holders, Co-op for eggs and mince pies, coffee pod and clothes bins at Morrisons used, two Christmas "tree branches' bought from The Range (they call them Bow & Bauble Swag) half price, ordered book collected from Knaresborough and thence Lidl shopped ostensibly for oranges.
Once home the tree branches tied to the bottom side of the staircase.

A most enjoyable 35 mile bike ride in occasional sunshine to drop of the cards at my sister's with a stop off at Aldi on the way home to pick up a pack of sausage rolls (two of which have already been scoffed) and a couple of packs of chilli rice cake snacks. Managed to avoid all the traffic.

I'm going to put my feet up for about an hour before teatime with the radio on in the background and the Private Eye Christmas edition to read.
