Yesterday evening felt like Christmas Eve, with family and friends pinging messages to each other, as though getting everything in order for the big day tomorrow. Except it wasn't tomorrow.

Good morning from a very breezy and quite chilly Suffolk. A fairly strong coffee has been in an attempt to kick start my system after being up and about a bit earlier than normal.

All that's on the 'to do' list for today is to pick up the pre-paid flower display for mum's birthday which is tomorrow. The florist is only a mile and a half up the road and I've found an M&S bag for life that looks like it may hold the display without crushing, so I'm going to walk it. If the display doesn't fit in the bag, at least it wont take long to pop home & get the car.

That was a very breezy 45 minute walk. The flowers aren't quite ready for collection yet, so I'll go back in about an hour with the car.
Meanwhile - coffee and toast

Up and out. Cleared some stuff I haven't used in ages from under our bed and took it to the tip. I did happen to find my favourite Christmas jumper (Pac man on a Christmas tree layout).

Stopped as usual at the tip - the guy said sorry it's the rules - even though the van is actually a 'car' apparently, if a minibus doesn't have a rear window, it would be classed as a van. I'm used to it though, it's only as I get near they see it's a 'car' with seats and a window.

Then onto the local shops to pick up coffee and milk, and a Christmas Card for MrsF - there were just three cards with 'wide' on in the shop, all the same. Loads of husband ones though  - have people been naughty ?
