Found in the Yorkshire hills ...
SWMBO has been tasked with finding a home for my late father-in-law's optical equipment, as he was an optician. We've cleaned it up and it may be going to either a museum or off to be used elsewhere but the wall mounted piece needed some new bulbs.

This morning I went on the hunt and found some. Credit to a local DIY store who looked at the ancient bulb from the 1960's and went "I think I've got some of these somewhere". I bought four.

Evri delivered the RF remote controlled switch this morning while the IR one I ordered by mistake is still apparently being delivered from Christmas Eve. Annoyingly found it needs a 2025 battery so back to Lidl, albeit via Morrisons. More old clothes binned there and I found mince pies cheaper than the Co-op but all dated Jan 1 hence just one pack bought. A longer browse in Lidl saw two hand towels and two packs of Italiamo dark chocolate Croccantini bought.

Tried to use the all new Win11 Online Powerpoint that I'm supposed to be working on collaboratively. This, I am assured, will make us more productive because we can see what the other is doing.

Tried to open document.
Microsoft demanded a code it had sent to my email.
Opened email
Cut and pasted code
Microsoft told me to conform the code using the App on my phone
Opened App, entered number.
App demanded a Passcode. What the )&)/&$? is a passcode?
Went to Microsoft "Help": Typed in "what is a passcode?"
MS "Help" returned all entries with " a " in the title.
Tried "Passcode"
MS "help" gave entries for "Password", "Key", and "Confirmation code".

Opened Open office to make a presentation, which I'll store on a stick and email: any time lost doing this is saved not faffing about with Win11
