I escaped for a nice 25 miles on my 1964 Moulton. I forgot how much fun a Moulton is. I must ride this bike more often. I must see why the brakes squeal like a banshee.

Mostly sunshine all day here although accompanied by a stiff and chilly breeze. Out for a couple of hours in the early afternoon and thoroughly enjoyed it - apart from the headwind on the return leg.

Yes, it was chilly but yaha ! the sun was shining. I got a 20 miler in , most I have done for months in one go. The wind did pick up a little to 15 mph making the wind chill feel like 3 degrees.

Spent an hour relaxing/recovering on the sofa finishing off Private Eye and then put my head down for a half hour snooze.

Having been mostly good this week food & drink wise and having expended a fair bit of energy today, I treated myself to burger & chips for tea today. Slightly more healthy than it sounds as they were both air fried.
All the good work is about to be undone as I'm about to open the first beer of the evening and a large bag of salt & vinegar Twists while half watching the next few hours of the Daytona 24 hours and reading Andy Wilman's book on Top Gear and The Grand Tour.

finally brought in the last of the summer gardening supplies. put the bike back in the basement. folded up the chairs & moved the grill leaving a cleaner, wider patio to shovel

I am feeling a bit better this morning. Thanks.
I was totally useless yesterday. I went back to bed for an hour or so but didn't sleep much. I got up around 12 and watched a bit of news and Bargain Hunt. Can't remember much. Had some more naps. Went out and topped up the bird feeders, remembered it was time to count them, didn't and had another nap. Woke up and cleaned some paint off the kitchen floor and had another nap.
So it was an exciting day!

I had left Georgie downstairs in the kitchen doing his floor exercises. He's now come up to bed for a lie down. Who needs a fitness trainer when you have a cat? We played Mousey! I had to go and fetch it whilst he batted it to me! Oh such fun! I was doing all the running around!
