God morning from Suffolk where it's yet another miserable start to the day - dull, flat grey cloud, damp and fine misty drizzle in the air.
Coffee has been had and the recycling bin has been emptied so it needs to be retrieved and returned to its normal resting place.

On the 'to do' list for today is dropping a card off for my brother in law ahead of his birthday on Tuesday. Unless it dries up a bit this will probably be done by car rather than bike.

Bit of a grey old start to the morning , mostly spent wondering what do before an earlier than normal hospital appointment.
Currently sat with and looking into discount hacks for our short break to London later this month.

Dull but seems to have stopped raining.
That dark my PIR LED bulb in the porch just came on as I looked in vain if postie had delivered anything.
Amazon are saying the new printer is the next delivery, um.. van is currently at Ferrybridge so definitely not imminent.

Not a bad start to the day but raining now. Managed a couple of hours on the bike mostly before it arrived.

Card has been delivered using the car thanks to constant drizzle. What I'd give for a couple of consecutive days of sunshine.

Printer deliveried.
Did what you are not suppose to do in cold weather and unboxed it.
Need to sort out its location etc as it might go somewhere different to the HP and will not try it until Friday so should have climatised by then.

Roast vegetable curry (Several portions of Christmas leftovers were bagged up in the freezer) & brown rice for dinner this evening.

had some excitement at our vacant house in NY late Friday nite, in 10F weather

fortunately, they missed my car ;-)

required much cleanup on my part

& extra shoveling of snow & ice

they didn't clear out until 2am

no idea at all what happened. all I heard was a whop! whoop! then a crash!
