Good morning from Suffolk where it continues to be dull, overcast and chilly with the drizzle currently being replaced by a stiff breeze.

Coffee has been had after a good night's sleep and a fresh pack of Weetabix has been opened for breakfast. Vacuuming to be done this morning and then see what the afternoon brings.

Wrecker guys are supposed to clean that up.

one of the officers was nice enough to pick up some larger parts. but see that white styrofoam bumper insert? I found that on the corner & had to break it up. or maybe it was a 2nd peice

several ppl have suggested I shouldn't have had to clean it up but. but by time the wrecker took it away it was 2am. when I arrived just before 7pm it was 10F, so I'm guessing it was even colder. most of the small parts weren't recognizable & just looked like chunks of dirty ice

Warmer weather is on the way, almost got above 0C yesterday. Almost. Should be headed for the Eastern Seaboard.

Roughly in order the events so far today consist of - shower, shave, pint of orange & mango squash, drizzle, vacuuming, toast, second coffee. A bit of Street View checking of walking routes for train station changes and station/hotel/venue routes has been done ahead of this weekend away has also been done while having the coffee.

It looks like the wetness has almost passed through so I may pop into town to get out for an hour or so later on.

The kettle's been switched on again. Although the rain radar is clear, it doesn't show the fine misty drizzle that's blowing in on the cold breeze. Another hot drink and some more of the book while keeping dry and warm indoors as the business in town can wait.
