Other than going to radiotherapy not a lot else has been achieved today. Been resting up as yesterday my cough and bit of cold got worse. Temp was over what they like so Mrs 73 phoned the helpline , lucky I'd had bloods done yesterday. They showed nothing to worry about so no infection just a bit of a cold. In other news this my last radiotherapy week so roll on Friday.

Going through some old photos. Here's one of me standing by my bike, ten years ago. January 1st, 2015.
I don't remember the name of the bike, but it was my first cruiser from a bike shop.

A chilly, murky and increasingly squelchy day here chez Casa Reynard, not helped by a lazy easterly.

Slept well, and overslept. Whoops!. Whizzed through the morning chores to get back on schedule with things. I also laundered my white coat. I need it on Saturday, as I am judging at a cat show in Bracknell. The rain set in about 1pm and it's still raining.

Lovely luncheon of crusty bloomer with salami, then an apple, a pear and a :cuppa:

Topped up the wood bins, and then hoofed into town to sort out some errands. First to Tesco, as I needed yoghurt, cooking cheddar, a large sweet potato (for an upcoming curry) and some bits for my judge's specials. That was all acquired, along with eight very firm avocadoes, two punnets of grapes and a pack of thermal socks on yellow sticker.

Next stop was Waitrose on the way home. Not that I needed anything from there in particular, but I needed to go to B&M for cat litter and some confectionery to go into the aforementioned specials, and since Waitrose are opposite B&M, I figured I could drop in, given that it was just gone half five, and that's when they do the reductions off the counter. That yielded half a kilo of beef dripping, two large kippers and a lamb breast joint, with all that lot costing me less than a fiver. Result!

Home for a lovely supper of broccoli & stilton soup, then avocado on toast, roast cherry tomatoes, creamed spinach and a fried egg plonked on top of all that.

Sat here watching Arsenal v Chelsea in the Carabao Cup semi final.
