Good morning from Suffolk where, after a brief respite, it's gone back to being dark & wet again with the rain being blown in in a stiff, cold easterly breeze.

Coffee has been had and nothing at all has been done so far today. At some point I will need to go out and get something for my stepmother's birthday on Saturday (the card & also a card for her & Dad's golden wedding anniversary on the same day are already sorted) and that's it for the day.

Rookie error t'other day. I bought a sweet potato for Bonnie & I to enjoy. Her, cubed & cooked slightly; me, wedges in the air-fryer..

Cut the end off ready to prepare.. It's white, not orange...

Another cold damp dismal day here. Highlight of the day so far has been a trip to the dentist for the yearly checkup. My dentist is something in Edinburgh Curling so I got to hear lots about his upcoming trip to Italy to support his pals.
