A belated good morning from Suffolk and all I can say is

Other than a quick trip round to see Dad & stepmother ahead of their golden wedding anniversary and her birthday, it's got all the hallmarks of another indoor day with regular trips to the kitchen for snacks & hot & cold drinks.

Got the new printer working and its churned out 33 sheets of A4 of its instructions. Reduced them further printed out 4 to a side double sided.
Sainsbury's, M&S and Co-op shopped; yellow label scones from the former, gift card free ice buns and TV guide from M&S and £1 of app vouchers used on soup and coffee in the Co-op.

Another cold grey day here, dry so far but rain forecast for later. Enjoyed a pleasantly quiet trip into town this morning for a new rucksack. Crocuses starting to appear in Morningside.

It appears to have stopped raining and the sky has gone a slightly lighter shade of grey.

A nice but fresh 5 miles on the bike was my lunchtime exercise and it was lovely

There is a new visitor to my back garden.

An enormous pheasant, I think. It must take a huge effort to get off the ground, or is it lots of feathers that make it look so big?

Just looked at the Wildlife Trust website, yes it is a male pheasant, with beautiful bronze plumage.
