Good morning from Suffolk where it's another in the continuing series of grey, cold and uninspiring starts to the day. About the best thing is that it's not raining - yet.

Coffee has been had and the overnight bag moved to by the front door ready for today's outing - Manchester is the destination to see Big Special at New Century Hall this evening. I'll be leaving to catch the first of a series of four trains in an hour's time.

Note to self: put a new battery in the alarm clock.

I think I'm bored! I've been looking at more bike frames. I already have enough, I think I need to join Bike Aholics Nonnymous for some therapy. Perhaps it's being couped up inside and not being able to get out and ride them which has brought it on. I'm not a decorator, I turn a blind eye to that sort of thing , but if a thing needs fixing then that interests me! We my avatar says I'll have a go! I like to tinker!

As the medical profession is not clear on what causes food allergies (wheat/gluten in my case) I am automatically regarded as being at higher risk of infection.

Another depressing drizzly/raining day. Washer on followed by sheets being tumble dried.
A rare Morrisons shop which as usual revealed they did not have what I had specifically gone for. Scampi and peas were reduced however but that did mean deferring use of the latest Lidk vouchers.

Expect some fun at this end. Hopefully not coming into Piccadilly as it's shut ! Enjoy the Concert. I can recommend Saddler's Cat on Hanover Street, for a few beers, just round the corner from New Century Hall. Lots of beery choice !

Well I'm back. It was not sunny, single figures temperature.
Very pleasant, but my feet got cold.
My Cowboy bike management system tells me I am 0.2km short of 9000km. Could have cycled around the block to get that!
Now to making my version of focaccia, because I like it.
Then I think a job lot of falafel are on the list.

What is needed is a group of trusted and willing CycleChat members who could form a chain to relay parts between them East, West, North and South. I think it would be a good thing which could benefit members who find things they fancy a bit out of reach.

A solo Lunchtime stroll has been travelled.
It was raining as I walked out of the house but stopped not long afterwards but it doesn't look promising.

Prompt use of a £5 off £35 Asda app voucher made including a double purchase of what Morrisons did not have. Spell of heavy rain on the return keeping the wipers occupied and noticed a pot hole has been filled in. Only a few hundred more to do.
