Weather is wet again. As it's warmed up, I'll pop to B&Q for some grass seed for the 'lawn' at the side of the drive. It was a lawn until my son used it for two trailers and car parts. He's taken one trailer and I've managed to drag two doors onto our decked area near the green house and out of the way. There is still an engine that I've managed to move into a corner. As you can imagine I've been left with mud. This was a well draining lawn that was never muddy and a very good soakaway. Need to get the grass re-established.

Only issue with remaining trailer is one wheel is badly damaged and it seems to be a very old wheel BCD pattern thats not available, so I think I'll still be stuck with it. He has been told it needs to be all gone by March. He moved out in November.

Today's 72 plate truck has 557215 kilometres on the odometer and has taken me to Corby & Tamworth.

I've just unblocked the kitchen sink.

I'd have told you about the blockage before I unblocked it, but that would have been too much tension for this thread.

But you generally only know a sink is blocked when it's blocked. Hard to predict.
Maybe a flow speed monitor and an App is something else that doesn't need inventing

Good morning from a fourth floor hotel room in grey and overcast Manchester.

Breakfast has been had and I've got 15 minutes rest before heading off to Victoria station for the train to Leeds to start the journey home. Good job I checked my tickets over breakfast as I'd have got on the wrong train at Leeds - for some reason I've booked myself on the one that leaves half an hour after my normal one.

Twix coffees a dry and largely sunny, if touch breezy at times, 2.9 mile Tesco and Co-op trek. Well timed as from the former I got the last pack of unsmoked mackerel fillets and the last box of freefrom apple pies.
Aldi price chicken breasts less 50p app voucher from thd Co-op.
