A grey and mild day here chez Casa Reynard, but the dampness, so far, has eluded us.

Slept really well, and actually overslept massively. Other than doing the basic chores, I have had a quiet say watching action from Milan-Cortina and doing some writing.

Lovely luncheon of sourdough bread, salami milano, an apple, a pear and a :cuppa:

Now sat by the fire with a :cuppa: and snacking on rice cakes.

After an extended tour of loose teas, I've just settled back into the Tesco's Gold that I managed to find the other day, and it's going down well. Not quite as good as the M&S Gold but half the price.

Have you tried blending it? Say 2 parts Tesco to 1 part M&S?

Yippee found the potato/veg brush. Had moved it before Christmas as dad thinks it a nail brush and then could not work out where it had gone. Discovered it had been hiding in plain sight sat in a hung up soup ladel.

So mid morning train down to London as it was not much more we went in with common people in 1st class. 1st up was free coffee and ginger cake, which the label said was handmade and bake. Quick look at the ingredients 1st thing was cake mix. So much for handmade anyway it was quite nice. Bit later another free coffee and very nice shortbread biscuits. Followed by another free coffee and cream scone, not too bad given what brand they used.

Tube to appointment a quick turn round and off to tescos for a few basics. Tea all cooked now doing battle with this Samsung smart tv. Who designed this interface boy it’s crap, and how you get simple things to work lord knows. Anyway I’ve found something to watch.

Nice to see theses appointments are just as high a standard as last time. Spotless and well equipment basic kitchen we a separate bedroom this time which is nice. As I’ve no need to worry about waking her up when I get up in the morning.
