A mostly sunny day here chez Casa Reynard after overnight rain, but a chilly one thanks to the rather brisk westerly.

Slept well enough again, but not as much as I'd have liked. No matter. The standard morning chores were scudded through pretty quickly. Also did some vacuuming (to Madam Boo's dismay), as well as doing some paperwork / accounts. I haven't heard anything back yet from anyone, so in terms of the formalities, I'm still currently in limbo.

Took advantage of the weather and went lumberjilling again. I only hauled in one heaped wheelbarrow of logs today, but I did fell three small-ish dead trees that I found near where I've been working, cut them up into lengths and built a tepee stack with them so that the wood doesn't get too wet when it rains. Also clipped half a wheelbarrow of small wood.

with some experience in the hospitality business, this reminds at 1 Ramada Inn as "Front Desk Service Coordinator" the weekday business guests would sometimes walk by & toss their keys on the desk w/o even a nod or eye contact

I think the 15 mile loop this afternoon justifies the consumption of half a chocolate bunny followed by rolls, soup and a coffee for tea.

Having a very quiet evening of football on the radio in the background (it's not been a good couple of days for the Premier League teams it seems) with the evening's hot chocolate to be made shortly.

Middle day of the working week. I've come to the conclusion that work is an overrated pass time.

Very stormy and cold here today, although mostly dry. It was a blustery walk to my dance class and home again.

Just spotted one of my favourite pairs of socks have both gone in the heal. Looks like it's time to get a replacement from the spares in my wardrobe

Much of the rough weather in the area started near my house and got progressively worse as it went north-east. Supercell thunderstorm that put out four different tornadoes as it progressed along, starting about 30 miles north of me and going into Indiana. 27c yesterday, 3C currently. Luckily, not much severe weather here.
