A sunny day here chez Casa Reynard, albeit a chilly one thanks to that nagging northwesterly breeze.
Slept well enough - six and a half hours this time. Still feeling sleep deprived, but less meh. A

taken upstairs, and spent two hours writing and doing some admin. That includes reviewing the quote from the funeral director. Other than a couple of bits I don't need, it's within a few notes of another quote my friend Linda got from somewhere else, so I shall stick with what I'm working with.
Swapped nightwear for clothes at a more decent hour and cleared the chores. Also did a small load of laundry, and as the hummus was nearly finished, I made a similar dip using a can of cannellini beans, olive oil, lemon, garlic and rosemary. I just *may* have overdone it slightly on the garlic...

After, had a little me time with a book. Then I upped sticks and tootled off to Tesco. Got the phone sorted - the girls in the shop were SO helpful - and all being well, I'm now all sorted for the rest of the year. Dropped off the soft plastics as well. And groceries acquired. Very little to be had on YS thanks to it being market day. There was a load of ham, but I have so much ham in the freezer, so I didn't bite. But picked up a hovis 50:50 loaf for 39p, four kilos of baking potatoes for £1.20 and a dented can of coconut milk for 50p. Also picked up a couple of nice books off the community bookshelf - one on military humour and a biography of Clive Myrie,
Stopped off in the village on the way home to offload the boot load of clothes, but the clothes bank was full and there were bags stacked alongside it, so didn't bother adding mine to the pile. Did drop by the book exchange though - lots of new books, and I availed myself of a couple of Roald Dahl books and some volumes on military history.
