Morning thought on thus, its probably Leeds which is actually Leeds City which in turn was a merging of Leeds New and Leeds Wellington

On that sort of thought maybe it’s Hull which has been known as Paragon Station, Hull Paragon or just Hull Station. Official it’s Hull interchange.

That's the washing up done. I can kick back and chill for the remainder of the evening.

A rummage through the kitchen cupboards has disgorged a small 2-cup china teapot. I think that's handier than a 2-litre tea pot.

Now, I *could* drink a 2 litre pot of tea, but I don't think my bladder would enjoy the experience LOL

I have 2 teapots but for reasons I can no longer remember I use the larger one yet only half fill it. Maybe it was something to do with how happily it pours out my 3 mugs of tea.

Didn't realise the season had started. Baseball's a guilty pleasure of mine - put the game on and just let the commentators waffle on in the background. Don't think I could watch a whole game live at a stadium though.

Yes, just Thursday, for the regular season. I saw the outside of Wrigley Field and the crowds were there for the game quite early. This was on the Tv, I am about 300 kilometers south and west of there.

May I ask, how do you know that?
You may, do you want an answer though.

I'm rewarding myself with a coffee and a slice of lemon drizzle cake after having just had a biopsy done. I got through 70 years never having a biopsy and now 3 in the last few weeks. Buses, eh.

I think the doctors are going to keep me occupied for a few weeks. I've 5 weeks of radiation and chemo coming up.

Keep as healthy and active as you can it really helps keep the effects of treatment. Rest when you can and find out what works for you. Everyone’s different as is the treatment. It always sounds a lot but the weeks will fly by.

Afternoon.
We are back home and I am glad to be back in England. We have coe back from Kidwelly. The castle is nice and fun to wander round but the 20 mph speed limits all over the place are just ridiculous! Apparently the locals ignore them. I haven't checked yet but I think it has affected my mpg in using more fuel. I like the people and have relatives in South Wales, it's where my mum came from. It's their stupid government has messed it up.

We were staying in Carmarthen Bay Holiday Park in a static caravan overlooking the estuary. The view across the estuary was a large sandy beach and a military firing range, further up the coast is Pendine Sands another test firing range. From the caravan I could see what I thought what looked like the remains of a wooden ship wreck with some timbers sticking up above the sand. A aerial view of it seemed to confirm it. On the far bank there also looked like 2 Jaguar aircraft partly hidden by some trees. This was also confirmed from an aerial view. Sadly we didn't get a chance to go there.
Plenty of Oyster Catchers and White Egrets could be seen on the beach. There were loads of sea shells on the beach.
