@Gwylan - is that a cry for help from the Yorkshire CC collective?

Size and location needed to assist. Single or double-breasted suit sir? Or, maybe a tuxedo?

Either way, I hope it can be resolved.

In these situations it's a case of throwing money at the problem, within reason of course. We are in Yorkshire!

Just unblocked our toilet this evening!

Another thread was discussing Amazon prime ....
Googled options for plungers and the like, and ordered a "toilet snake kit" and it came today about 6pm. So pleased with my Amazon subscription.

An hour spent using the snake to drag out a mass of wet wipes that somebody in this house had thrown down the pan and it was clear again and all working again.

Of course it was the wet wipe demon. No on in the house would dream of doing something like that.

We have a member of the household who thinks that not fully flushing is saving water.
Despite encouragement to flush til it's gone seems to manage to leave the odd bit of paper for the next user

Lunchtime cycle, all a bit muddy and damp but pleasant sunshine. Temperature almost double digits.
Now I have to deal with a toilet that is blocked. Why, how or where is not clear.
I have noticed our paper consumption has risen recently.

Oh, that issue.

See posts related to blockages.

Pushed the Karcher pressure washer drain unblocker as far as it would go.
Then reduced to taking up the decking to gain access to the inspection hatches.
Great job
Anyway, my half hearted flusher house mate and long term partner seemed to have built up a large deposit.
More action with the Karcher resolved the blockage, but not the blocker. Then replace the decking and decide to modify to include access hatches.
The free and frank exchange may be cited in any future divorce proceedings. But after 50 years neither of us can afford to leave the other.

As he's in Yorkshire at least @Gwylan should be wearing a flat cap

Good morning from Suffolk where it's been a bright & breezy morning so far although the cloud has started to roll in.

Coffee has been had and there's the prospect of a second one following shortly. Later on I'll be taking a ride out to the Suffolk Food Hall to spend the remainder* of my credit refund from Octopus on bacon & sausages.

I'll also be playing with Google maps & Streetview to plan an outing (if the weather holds) for Wednesday.

*The majority was used for the ticket & hotel booking on Saturday.

Having received no post for a few days amongst the 13 ( ) letters arriving today there's a winners cheque for the massive sum of £20.

Not much, but it all helps.

As the online banking app won't recognise the cheque methinks a short ride out with some cake is in order so I can get the cheque to the bank  .
