It's been a day of sunshine and hefty showers here chez Casa Reynard. And a cold, blustery north-westerly.
Slept well enough, but still running on a sleep deficit. No lay ins this morning, as I had to go and battle officialdom early doors and didn't want to lose the slot and have to re-book. So a

necked and off into town. I did have to wait a while in reception, but once I got seen, things were actually pretty painless. Although I now have another ream of paperwork to deal with.
And I hate paperwork...
Did a little bit of shopping on the way home - Savers for a fresh supply of antihistamines, and B&M for cat litter.
Once home, I loaded the crock pot with tonight's supper, and then just kicked back with a

and a book for a while. As I felt cold (cos it was cold and I'm still tired), I curled up on the bed under a throw.
And Madam Boo joined me!
It's only taken three and a half months for her to jump up on the bed and spend some time with me. Small steps, but progress. She was so happy and over excited that she kept nipping my fingers while I was trying to read LOL!
Had a lovely luncheon of avocado on toast, a homemade granola bar and my little teapot of tea.
This afternoon was spent clearing the chores. Kitchen waste, ashes, firewood, litter tray, all that sort of stuff. I was still really cold once I'd finished, so had a nice steaming hot bath with lots of bubbles.
Had a lovely hearty supper of sausage & bean casserole with wholegrain couscous.
I still need to decant the casserole from the crock pot and put it in the fridge, and I need to wash up. But other than that, I am planning on a nice, quiet evening. And I intend on sleeping in tomorrow.
