A very blustery day here in this corner of Suffolk, along with a few short but very sharp showers. Made the ride out for sausages & bacon 'interesting' with 15-20mph headwinds plus stronger gusts for virtually the whole way, but worth it for the quality. Almost nothing else has been done for the rest of the day except for Wednesday's route planning and battling with the train timetables which insisted that a certain journey didn't exist unless I purchased an off peak day return when all I wanted was a single.

When I got home this afternoon the postie had delivered a letter from the Government pensions people confirming my state pension age and letting me know that I didn't have to do anything as they would contact me again 4 months before the date with details of how to claim.
All very well, but I don't reach state pension age for nearly six years!

Ah! The dangly carrot! Place it over the horizon. You can sense it's there but can't reach it!

Morning.
Grey but dry here.
Not sure what I am doing today but I'm sure SWMBO will have something for me to do.

Good morning from a very dull and grey Suffolk. Damp underfoot thanks to an earlier shower and occasional bouts of fine drizzle ongoing. Coffee has been had.

A quiet day is going to be had as the only thing that needs to be done is a bit of shopping for today's food and possibly a visit to John Lewis for a spare pillow thanks to a £5 discount in the reward section of the app.
