A grey and clement enough day here chez Casa Reynard, with brief light showers from tea time onwards.
Once again, came up short on sleep. It seems that no matter what *time* I go to bed, my body clock will only allow me somewhere between five and a half and six hours. Gah. Good to hear that
@Jenkins is making good use of the sleep I'm not using. So took a

back to bed and spent some time writing and working with plot bunnies for a future chapter.
Clothes on at a more decent hour. Cleared the chores, topped up all the wood bins in the house and did some ironing. The latter included my white coat, as I need it again this weekend.
Had a lovely luncheon of a roll filled with polish sausage and cheese, had the last of the Nasi Goreng on the side, and then finished the last granola bar. So I shall probably make another batch tomorrow.
Watched the action from Aintree whilst eating, and then left it on while I did a bit more tidying up, stopping to watch the races.
At tea time I went into town to pick up some bits and pieces I needed. Firstly Tesco for milk, bananas and lightbulbs. Then to the adjacent petrol station for £20-worth. Filled a can to make up a batch of two-stroke for the chainsaw, and then made up to the £20 by putting some more in the car. Cost me £2 more to fill a gallon can than the last time I did that. On the way home, stopped off at Aldi for some herbal tea as they're cheaper than Tesco. Not by much now, that's gone up 35p since new year.
Had some luck on yellow sticker. Tesco yielded a litre of gold top Cornish milk, a large tub of tuna & sweetcorn sandwich filler, a fresh salt & pepper baguette from the ISB, and a roll of Bacofoil clingfilm from the green bins cos the box was squashed.
A lovely supper of a good chunk of that baguette along with some of the nice deli that's in the frigo, and a

on the side. There's the last of the pear & almond crumble for later.
