Time to bank the fire for the night and hobble off upstairs to bed via a nice hot bath.

Note that the driving wheels will ruin any modern track. It depended a fair bit on the driving wheels "biting into" the track, not rubber traction tyres.

I think I've the service sheet, should you need it.

Thanks. I don't think I will need it as it won't get much use even if I get it to run. I have am trying to get the motor running at the moment.

Can you ease the motor up do the gears are not meshing theh you can see if it is the motor or a sticky mechanism.

Thinking about filling stations running out, why is there no requirement that the price sign is altered to show NA.

Here is my blue Pullman that I bought on Sunday. I have given it a bit of a clean but you can still see some of the orange rust.

Yesterday included a walk in COVID injection.
Was booked online, but no confirmation.
Turned up, was not on list, but the kind and attractive lady said "she's do me anyway"

Last night, as always, I reacted. Hot sticky, tossy turny night. Then big sleep, woke at 0930.

Beautiful sunny day and the gas men have run out of road to dig up. Moved into various people's gardens in their search for escaping gas.
