Morning.
Sunny here but there are a lot of puddles lying around. We had quite a bit of rain yesterday. We seem to get rain which ever way the wind blows?

The other issue you will face is that newer, current track, has a lower profile than the older track. Meaning that it won't sit right on any track.

Yes but I doubt it it will get much use. I have ordered a set of side windows for the tractor unit as one set is missing. I am searching for 2 sets of wheels as one falls out and one is missing. I thought I might have some floating around but they are smaller in diameter.

I was just remembering a talk we went to at our museum. It was about post WW2 life. One of the things the chap mentioned which I had never thought about was the amount of money some people must have saved up. The chap was saying that due to the war effort people in factories were working long hours and getting paid for it . They couldn't spend it at the time due to rationing. I was wondering if that is how my parents bought their house? I can remember my mum saying that they had finally paid off their mortgage back in the early 60's.

Good morning from Suffolk where it's another morning of clear blue skies & sunshine. Coffee has been had.

This morning I've got to go up to Halfords on the outskirts of Ipswich to pick up the click & collect order. Once that's been done, i's a quick walk across the trading estate to Waitrose for some snacks and then on to Brands Hatch for a day trackside witching the 750 Motor Club action which should be a good day of basic clubbie racing.
