Youngest daughter cooked us a TO DIE FOR veggie Lasagne for lunch today. what's more there is loads left over for tomorrow to go with the venison casserole/stew that i am going to cook for my dad.

A very enjoyable day out has been had. Dry, warmish, mostly sunny and just good to be trackside watching motor racing again. It's tempting to go to Snetterton on Sunday, but with the BTCC from Donington and WEC from Imola being on TV and Snetterton, Brands Hatch AND the Goodwood Members' Meeting being live streamed I've got plenty of choice once I've had a bike ride.

I think it's time for a hot chocolate.

Oh I am having fun with my Garmin Edge130. If you see something flash past you it will probably be it as I hurl it!
I set off this morning on my ride. I set it going and it seemed to be working. I was a bit annoyed as the speed was being shown at the bottom in very small digits I thought my daughter's partner had set it so that it would appear in the centre of the screen in a large font. Any way I pressed on. At 5 miles it must have stopped recording mileage. I reached my brother's house and felt diddled! On my way home I set it going and this time the speed was where I wanted it and could see it but the mileage still wasn't working.
Why do they have to be so bl**dy complicated!

I bought a cheap solar powered water fountain on Saturday.
I've dropped it into the garden bird bath and was pleasantly surprised at how well it works.With sun making an appearance in the afternoon it was quite nice to see and hear the sound of it.
It seemed to attract a few more birds to the bird bath much to the cats delight 🤣

Time to bank the fire for the night and hobble off upstairs to bed via a nice hot bath.
