WAH completed. Barking useless software at its worse ending up with a report with 10 lines between paragraphs, total garbage in front and after the main bit and no bold formatting where needed.
A lunchtime Co-op trek was undertaken. Eggs and a TV guide expanded into soup, two packs of Nakd bars, cottage pie and beef hot pot. The wave of the store card knocking an extra ÂŁ3.20 off given the soup and Bakd bars were openly reduced. Sunny but chilly wind albeit not as strong as yesterday.

A very blustery 47 miles was ridden this morning up to Bury St Edmunds mostly with a side or rear three quarters wind. I was most disappointed to find a lack of post box topper at Tostock as that was one of the reasons today's route was chosen.

Despite my best intentions, lunch and drinks were had before getting the train home. At least I won't need to cook tea (unless a couple of slices of toast count).

The rest of the day will be spent with my feet up, radio on in the background and a pint or two of orange & mango squash to drink.

A beautiful sunny day here chez Casa Reynard, and it would've been t-shirt weather but for the brisk easterly.

Sleep was decent, and actually got seven hours. So woke up feeling quite refreshed. No :cuppa: in bed while doing some writing this morning, as I met my friend Linda for a lovely walk around the community orchard and nature reserve with the dogs. The apple trees in the orchard are in full bloom, though the early varieties are almost done flowering, and the later varieties are only just getting started. It was a magical sight, and really lifted the spirits.

Stopped off at the clothes bank on the way home, but could only wedge one bag of stuff in there. The other three bags are in the car and will have to wait for another time. Also stopped at the book exchange and picked up a volume on Victorian household tips. Should be an amusing thing to look at if nothing else.

Had a lovely luncheon of a roll filled with cold roast beef, then a tangerine, a banana, some flapjack and a pot of tea.

Spent the afternoon writing and watching the snooker. Ronnie's through, and the match between Si and Vafaei was just riveting.

When that was done, quickly scudded through the chores.

Had the last two rolls for supper, one with the last of the tuna & sweetcorn sandwich filler, and the other with the half an avocado that was also lurking in the fridge. There's only four slices of bread left - looking a bit shonky, but I can live with that. I'll be going for groceries tomorrow, so will pick up some fresh bread.

I've had a quiet evening with Deadliest Catch and the snooker.
