Good morning from Suffolk where the earlier mist/fog and cloud has lifted and it's sunshine and just a little bit of high cloud now. Still quite chilly. Coffee has been had.

The atmospheric conditions are playing havoc with the DAB radio signal and all I'm getting is squelchy noises so I'm using the BBC Sounds app and am a little over an hour behind the live broadcast having restarted the programme from the beginning.

Nothing to do at all today other than to decide which bike to use and where to go when I finally get off my backside and head out.

I have acquired a basic welding set. Technique is a bit rough, but I'm progressing.
All sorts of things getting bodged back together.
Might not be pretty but it works. Welded the bird feeder holder thing back together. Management thinks it was worth the investment just for that repair.

My late father idea for plastic welding was to get a knife red hot and lay it above the bits of plastic to re re join them it worked sometimes

Left knee is not happy after last Sundays tumble with bruising now being subjected to 20 minute sessions of cold compress.
Washing hung out then the car to Lidl at Knaresborough. A browse of its large centre isle produced 2 T shirts, 3 boxer briefs, 8 paintbrushes and a 2.5 litre can of teak oil for around the typical price of 1 litre meaning together with the groceries the £5 off £30 voucher was easilly used.
Knaresborough itself was rammed, I presume traffic was diverting through it in the belief of getting caught in traffic to the flower show, hence returned via Calcutt to call into Asda. Self scan app used to check spend and only a few pennies over £35 triggered the £5 off their.
Afternoon of teak oiling the garden furniture coming up.
