today should be OK ... nobody seems to be panicking about anything
Isn't it a bit early in the day (your time) to be that confident?

Nice little fields & woodland based 4 mile stroll in the sunshine and gusty wind this afternoon. Half the time was spent thinking I should take the fleece jacket off, the other half was spent wishing the jacket had a windproof outer shell.

Also had my niece's birthday list sent through from my sister - one of the items was a CD that appears to only be available as a Japanese import at £25+ so I've opted for the Amazon voucher that was also on the list and she can use that to buy the much cheaper (£8) digital download instead ^_^.
Then mum called - can I keep an eye out on Lidl offers for schnitzel being available.

Hot chocolate time.

It's been a bright, sunny and warm day here chez Casa Reynard, albeit only warm when sheltered from that biting easterly.

Slept well, and bagged seven hours for a change. Fed the cat, made a :cuppa: and took it upstairs to bed. Had some pretty productive writing time, and Madam Boo came to join me on the bed.

Chores done at a more decent hour. Also hung yesterday's laundry outside, with the exception of my smalls and socks, as I'd have found them in Pymoor otherwise.

Had a lovely luncheon of seeded sourdough bread with butter & cheese (gruyere and gorgonzola), plus a banana, a flapjack and a nice tall glass of chilled ribena.

Spent the afternoon watching the snooker and writing.

Fabby supper of salmon baked in a watercress sauce, jersey royals and fried chestnut mushrooms with garlic :hungry:

I have had a quiet evening watching snooker, Deadliest Catch and chatting with a couple of friends on WhatsApp.

Its nice that your cat wants to keep you company.

Morning.
It is sunny and a bit blowy here. I have just collected our garden waste bin.
I took these to the Men's shed yesterday, they caused some conversation amongst some of the chaps there. I started these some years ago, I had completely forgotten about the copper one, I just found it in a plastic container. They are based on Triang/ Hornby models. I took the measurements from them.
