All the animals and insects here in Hundred Acre Wood are friendly.

Somehow a bear and a bee got a bit too friendly and we now have the bumble bear.

Just tied up the peonies ready for the heavy rain forecast for Sunday. You can guarantee the rain will come just as they come into flower.

dunno why I read that as roping ponies

Troubling dinner interrupted by squishing ants on the kitchen floor. Consequently a visit to B&Q for some bait stations. One now located just inside the back door and one outside it.
Thence to Sainsbury's where unlike the last visit the hand scanners were working. Useful as depending on variety large Toblerones were £4.95 or £7 and the normal ones were without a price. £7 said the scanner so the purchase was cancelled and the bar returned to the shelf.
The use of having a landline arosr once home as my mobile was absent. Eventually found hiding partly under one of the runners of the cars front passenger seat.

Finally glazed the greenhouse today.

Tomorrow we have the excitement of a “butty and brew” trip on the Churnet Valley Railway with a real steam engine 🥳

A quick tootle to Aldi for some Hobgoblin or Harpers Red Ale,sadly none of either,so i am going to try Mullighans Stout four cans for £4-49 if its rubbish well its cheap rubbish,i also have sent an e mail to Aldi asking about the Red Ale shortage at the store,on a health note my toes are giving me jip with this neuropathy. It seems being active makes them worse,i can see my final years being more troublesome feet walking wise.On a good note out in Manchester tomorrow, dinner with son and future d i l,looking forward too it.Weird advertising on my chromebook, today i was looking at team gilets on e bay,i fancy the Belgian plain one a nice blue with a band around the chest, but with them being from China i am a bit worried, but just now a part page ebay advert of gilets has just popped up,i am being watched i tell you.

I had a relaxing morning and then went for a fifty mile ride in the afternoon. It was very overcast towards the end but the rain held off.

Trying to book accommodation in the Hebrides is proving challenging. I thought it wouldn't be too busy yet.
