Time for first ☕ Washing machine doing its stuff.
Forgot to mention previously another weird vehicle movement seen leaving Sainsbury's.
Two lanes out one for northbound traffic and one for southbound. A southbound vehicle headed out on the third lane, an inbound one :banghead:

I was reading an article in a magazine, Ride Fit. One of the bits was about healthy eating. It suggested that you drink a glass of water before a meal and then drink a pint of cold water afterwards. I'm sorry but I wouldn't be going anywhere afterwards apart from the loo!

My thoughts are. Eat plenty of baked beans before a ride. The effect of the added thrust should increase your top speed by at least 1 mph. It's the every action has an equal and opposite effect.
2. Breathing! Inhale with your head pointing forwards and exhale with your head pointing rear wards, a bit like a swimmer doing the crawl. This should also add to your speed. It might make you dizzy but just think of the gains!

I have a recumbent, and find that gas aids my braking.

A gentle ride into and around Felixstowe as I realised I was running low on milk and took the opportunity to get my niece's birthday card while in town.

Parking restriction signs are up in areas of the seafront ahead of tomorrow's annual classic vehicle run from Ipswich to Felixstowe where they park up and display on the prom. Weather permitting that's my day sorted on Sunday.

Good morning from a nicely warm and hazily sunny Suffolk. Looks like we had a bit of rain overnight judging by the puddle on the neighbour's shed.

Coffee has been had with the first two custard cream biscuits from a freshly opened pack. Once I've had a shower there's a load of cycle clothing for the washing machine to deal with and then I plan on having a very lazy day to give my legs a rest.

One of many plants the Victorians had an obsession about was frens leading to a craze for all things fren called Pteridomania. So much so it found it's way onto custard creams in the form of the patten we have today.
Biscuits got to be seen as a great Victorian example of production and industrial achievement. Hence why it become social acceptable to buy biscuits but not shop bought cake. Which is way cake is not subject to VAT as at the time most people still made cake at home.

Every day's a school day here.

Still hate custard crème biscuits.

For a cure for the tinnitus that has suddenly presented as a hive of very angry bees?

My current tinnitus was caused by the safety valve, on the steam loco I was standing next to, deciding to vent
