General elections, yes. Local elections, not so much. At least not in this neck of the woods.

There's always Lord Buckethead though.

They had a candidate in the local elections up here, down the valley.

Evening hot chocolate went down well earlier

An occasionally sunny but rather chilly day here chez Casa Reynard.

Did not sleep well thanks to the old "too hot, too cold" thing. But as a result I now know that Madam Boo does come and sleep on the bed a few times throughout the night, although she doesn't stay for long.

Had a quiet day watching the action from the BTCC meeting at Brands Hatch, and the World Seniors snooker.

A sausage sandwich, a packet of crisps and a banana yoghurt for luncheon. Umm, and some chocolate brazils. Those are horribly addictive, which is why I rarely buy them.

Also listened to the footy. Talk about squeaky bum time!

Supper was ma po tofu dumped onto some homemade triple-cooked chips.

Now about to have a and watch MOTD

I was glad Ronnie O'Sullivan won the World Seniors.

My knees are stiff after yesterday's oopsie. My elbow isn't so bad, but my left knee has a pretty sizeable bruise.

Last year the red clowns believing they have a right to rule. Without any engagement just changed the cycle from 1/3 every year to one all out election every 4 years. Which has now back fired on them , so we are locked in for 4 year.

No boundary changes in your area then.
It should be one year and two years with the one with the most votes voted in for three years. But with no election on the fourth year, basically a "system reset".
Last one(boundary changes) being 22 years in this area.

Not from where I stand. (In my case, it is my neighbor's back yard, where a conflagration is going in the fire pit, perhaps for our Mother's Sunday. Why it is the Sunday before Whitsunday over here is a mystery to me, but most people are not Anglican or Episcopalian here, either. (Although I do live in a largely R.C. area.)

It was chosen specifically to be near the anniversary of Jarvis’s mother's death, not to align with church seasons like Lent or Whitsuntide.
