Good morning from Suffolk where it's been an overcast start to the day. Damp underfoot from overnight rain, but missed out on the heavy stuff as the Met Office rainfall map showed a very big splodge of wetness passing to the south.

Coffee has been had and I'm just waiting for the own brand Shreddies to soften up enough in the milk for breakfast. If it doesn't heat up too much in the next couple of hours I'm heading out on the bike.

Change of plan already - I've sold a bike and it's being collected this afternoon so no ride.

Serious rainfall and a pretty lively thunderstorm for much of last night. But it has now hidden all trace of water in the streets below. There's still some waterdrops on the west-facing windows but it's all dry again apart from that.

Hot and sunny here.
We had a heavy rain storm with thunder and lightning. We had a stream flowing past our house. We had 23 mm in quarter of an hour.

I have a river flowing by my house @Illaveago I do live on a boat though, so its not a worry. 😁

Lunchtime stroll completed early to avoid the rising temperatures.

Have windows that fully open upstairs so one was for most of the morning until it was no longer cool air entering. Did mean the odd brief visit by a fly before it quickly flew back out. Occurred to what we need are trained spiders, get them to quickly weave a web over an open window allowing the breeze in and no flies.

A quick 25 miles before it gets too hot and the sold bike is collected. Should have used a lighter bike
