Up at 6, great, off to the Norfolk coast and avoid the heat. Get up, walk around, Christ, I'm tired! Bed.
Up at 9, ok, maybe there and back is a bit too much for me right now, Kent coast, far nearer. Walk around a bit, still exhausted. Bed.
Up again around 10:30. Still really tired. What's on TV? Oh, yes, the 3rd test at Trent Bridge....

A couple of sleepless nights followed by really hot weather has taken its toll. It'll be a miracle if I get anything done at all today. Just making a coffee was an epic effort.

Drinking it, luckily, takes a far more manageable level of effort.

I've mucked out the interior of my car after a couple of days camping in the Peak District.
No point in washing the outside as the squashed flies are baked on & stuck like 💩 to a blanket..

I just asked the grand kids if they wanted an ice-cream. They said that they have already had one. I said that they didn't have to tell the grown ups.

Another cracking day here. Did the cleaning then enjoyed a very pleasant couple of hours on the bike, mostly offroad, taking in a circuit of the Penicuik estate. Now enjoying a pot of tea. Temperature has now reached 23°.
