I have been out on a ride. It was cool enough for it but I'm sweating a lot now.
I saw a Green Woodpecker on my ride which was nice. I must have disturbed it as I cycled up a lane. I could still here it slow I continue to ride slowly and spotted it in the road ahead of me.
I did 11 miles and am now sweating, the temperature has gone up a bit.

Quite a fresh breeze today. Did a pleasant couple of hours off road in the hills. The bell heather has started flowering, I must remember it’s the other sort that heralds the end of summer.
