The bin men didn't empty our glass box on Friday. They took the paper and tin can stuff but left the glass. I'm not sure if they took our neighbours. I can't remember hearing glass tumbling.

I cooked a big batch of food for Bonnie the Bischon this morning; chicken, turkey leg, sausages, plus veg; broccoli, carrots, peas, sweet potato, parsnip, butternut squash & runner beans.

Now it's cooled, I'll mush it into 3 portion containers to freeze.
That should be about a month's worth of nosh for her, supplemented by crunchy dried food for suppers.

Weird morning. Often looked like it was to chuck it down. Twix coffees the larger Lidl at Knaresborough visited. Did have cycling items noticeably absent in the local one yesterday but none of the other items which were absent. Picked up a mini compressor. Called in at the Co-Op on the return to use the weeks app added discounts on Aldi price chicken breasts and eggs.

A white wash is steadily runnIng round the washing machine...with a RED towel as well
I had chucked it in yesterday with a couple of other bits ready for the next wash...I forgot it was there.
Ah well, let's see how pink the whites are when it's finished it's cycle....

I got away with it, whites are still white...but I can just hear my late wife's exclamation if I'd told her what id done, and it wouldn't have been pretty

As planned, nothing other than hanging out the washing was done this morning and the afternoon was looking to be more of the same until I had notification that parts 1 & 2 of a 3 part click & collect order* were ready at Argos in Felixstowe.

With plenty of time to waste I decided to walk it, so put the radio on through earphones ready for the F1 race and headed off. Order collected and most bits fitted into my backpack with one light piece in a carrier bag. Stopped off 2/3rds of a mile later at a CoOp local to exchange divi vouchers for some chicken breasts & rolls. Carried on only to discover a few hundred yards later that the Half Moon was still open and that delayed me for half an hour while I had a pint of pale ale in the pub's garden.

Tea time next and the F1 will be watched this evening as it sounded quite good from the radio coverage.

*Part 3 won't be ready until Tuesday which will fit in with another collection elsewhere & food shopping.

Typically as the temperature drops the winds go very gusty. Spreading weeds removed from rear lawn then both mown.
House dusted and vacuumed, something missed last week.
Wifi printer was problematic then noticed it wanted a firmware update. Once that was installed it behaved itself.
