Morning.
It's sunny here. I have put our bins out, we missed our garden waste collection on Wednesday as we thought it wasn't until next week. We didn't have much in it but it was good to know that it was bin day this week.

I didn't go on yesterday's group ride as SWMBO overruled it. It would have been too hot by the time they were due to come back. I got back from my earlier ride at 5 minutes past 11 by which time the sun was burning hot. The group ride would still have been riding and wouldn't have reached the stop off point for tea.

Good morning from a 3rd floor hotel room in sunny and warm Leeds. Today's view is of the hotel car park, the slip road off the A58 and the tower blocks in the city.
A large cooked breakfast has been had so the usual rest is being had to let things settle before I walk into town. I should have plenty of time to look round Decathlon as there's a couple of things I wouldn't mind and then it's the train home.
A couple of pain au chocolate have been liberated from the breakfast area for travel snacks on the way back.

A very enjoyable 25 miles through the hills this morning, out over the shoulder of Black Hill and down Green Cleugh, back through the Penicuik estate and Glencorse. A pleasant 20-23°.

Bits of mundane i have made a Spotify list of Johnny Cash songs and i have taken out the last scone from the freezer to have after tonight meal a Special fried rice and spring rolls,
