It's been a warm and sunny day here chez Casa Reynard.
Sleep wasn't brilliant. A restless night going by the number of stuffies that had fallen off the bed and onto the floor. Although I might also suspect a certain furry madam... Also short-changed on sleep. Just not been feeling it this week. Anyways, downstairs, fed the cat, made myself a

and took it upstairs to do some writing.
Carried on with the passage that I was working on yesterday, just trying to get the shape and mood right.
Back downstairs at a better hour and cleared the chores. That included emptying the mixed recycling bag in the house into the blue wheelie bin outside. Then went out across the road to pick some blackberries from a stand that grows along a bit of a bank. The berries there are early and huge - suspect they're an escaped garden cultivar rather than fully wild. Managed to pick about half a kilo.
Had a lovely luncheon of a pakora sandwich, raspberries and a small pot of tea.
Then picked some mirabelle plums from the trees in the garden, but the crop is very poor this year. It's just been too dry. After, I sat in a chair chilling and listening to FP2 from Hungary.
FP2 done, I hoofed into the village to pop into the garage to book Colin's MOT. They didn't have the wiper blades I needed in stock and were very apologetic about it, but will order them and fit them for me when they do the MOT. Dropped off the blackberries and mirabelles at my friend Linda's, and then came home via the community orchard. I picked some ripe plums, and have enough to make a crumble.
Have had a quiet evening so far, listening to the cricket and catching up with the sumo. About to sort supper.
