It's been a bright, sunny and rather warm day here chez Casa Reynard.
Slept much better, and feel better too. Downstairs, fed the cat, made a

and took it back upstairs to do some writing. Back on the novel again today. Did some work on that, and then read some articles I'd bookmarked.
Did the chores at a better hour. Tray scooped, planters watered, had to stake up my "Sweet Million" tomatoes as the weight of the fruit was making the plant very droopy. Also sorted out the car insurance, which has concluded a rather spendy couple of weeks.
The postie brought me a Zooplus voucher for 15% off Royal Canin cat food.
Had a lovely luncheon of a chunk of baguette with kipper pate, a Lady Hollendale apple, some cherries and a small pot of tea.
After, it was up on the garage loft to start bringing down all those workshop manuals. It was too hot and stuffy up there to do the lot - I managed to bring about a third of them down - about sixty or so. They're now in two big stacks in my sitting room waiting for me to catalogue them.
I needed some fresh air after that, so went off on a bicycular bimble in the company of Rocky the Hardtail - chosen on the basis that he was nearest the door. Did a nice six mile loop up to Red Caps Drove and back. The hedgerows out there have been cut back quite drastically, so the blackberry crop up there isn't as good as it usually is. Stopped off at the book exchange on the way home and picked up a couple of things that looked interesting. No luggage on Rocky, so had to stuff the books up my cycling jersey. Fortunately, they were paperbacks LOL
Now watching the football. And as the halftime whistle has just blown, it's time to get something to eat.
