Pots & hanging baskets have been watered 💦

Your hanging baskets plants surviving then? After the recent summers of them dying quickly gave up on them in favour of plastic ones

Evening Aldi & Tesco trek which Strava AI describes as matching my 90th percentile distance and moving time:scratch:

@Jenkins Aldi sold out of linen shirts.

It's been a pleasant and mostly sunny day here chez Casa Reynard, with a nice cool breeze.

Slept well enough despite a late night thanks to an emergency laundry session. Downstairs, fed the cat, put last night's laundry out to dry in the sun, made a :cuppa: and took it upstairs to do some writing. Albeit I got distracted with the athletics from Birmingham.

Did the chores at a better hour. Took some fish out of the freezer to let it defrost in the fridge, picked some tomatoes, and did a load of admin that had been staring balefully at me.

Had a lovely luncheon of anchovies on toast, greek yoghurt with apple & blueberry, and a small pot of tea.

Couldn't resist sitting in the garden for a little while listening to the cricket before shinning up onto the garage loft to bring down some more of those workshop manuals. Lordy, it was stuffy up there! Two more boxes emptied and now stacked in the hallway waiting to be catalogued.

After, I felt I needed some fresh air, so went out for a nice bicycular bimble in the company of Rocky the Hardtail.

Home, then water the planters, bring in the laundry and do a bit of tidying up.

Have had a lovely evening watching the athletics.

Supper was halloumi, aubergine & chickpea curry, basmati rice and mint raita.

A quiet remainder of the evening is planned.

A quiet evening has been had catching up with the news and doing little else other than making & drinking the day's hot chocolate.

I think I've got enough to do on Tuesday to keep myself busy.
