Good morning from Suffolk where the skies are clear, the sun is out and it's very warm already.

I woke up way too early so the first coffee of the day is a distant memory and a second, smaller one, may be had before I set off on today's outing to Guildford to see Prima Queen at The Boileroom - an appropriate name given how hot it will be in there this evening. The plastics/glass/metal recycling bin will be moved to the front of the house before I go so it can be emptied on Thursday morning.

DPD have given me a time slot of 10:25 to 11:25 for my parcel delivery and, as I need to leave for the train station just after 11:15, I hope it's at the early part of the time slot.

The Puncture Saga!
Yesterday I thought I would repair the slow puncture in my rear tyre. Trying to remove the tyre was a struggle as it was so tight, but then I had to try to get the inner tube out. The tyre was either a 23 or 25 and there was hardly any room for me to get my fingers in, each time I tried to grab the tube it slipped back in . Eventually I used 2 plastic tyre levers as tweezers to grab hold of it. Next was to find the leak. Soon spotted as a pin prick of a hole. Now the fun begins! I usually carry a puncture outfit in case of emergencies. I have never tried using them until now. I went to open the small box from Halfords. It is sealed with some plastic tape which I couldn't break with my fingernails! I tried pulling the box apart but it wouldn't budge so I had to go off and search for a knife. I was just th If I had stopped whilst out on a ride to find that I needed a knife to open the box!

Not looking good for the DHL deliveries today either. 4 hours into its journey the driver is on the way to stop 22 and mine is listed as 81.
