Another scorchio and mostly sunny day here chez Casa Reynard.
Slept well enough, but could've been better. Overslept slightly, leading to a furry madam walking all over me and wanting to know where her breakfast was. So downstairs, fed the cat, made myself a

and took it upstairs to do some writing whilst keeping an eye on the athletics from Birmingham.
Did the chores, including putting away all the non-fridgeable shopping from yesterday and picking more tomatoes.
Had a lovely luncheon of a bacon sandwich, greek yoghurt with greengages, and a small pot of tea.
A quiet afternoon was had. Which included sitting in the shade and listening to the cricket. At tea time, I went into town to pick up a few bits that I couldn't get in Tesco. Nipped into Waitrose for a small cucumber, and also picked up some of those lovely chilli and fennel sausages off the counter on YS, as I really enjoyed the pasta ragu I made with those I bought previous week. Also picked up part of a friend's birthday present, and chucked £20-worth of go-juice in the car.
B&M are already putting their Christmas lines out. They have some cool Halloween jim jams which I may treat myself to.
Bumped into the lady who had fostered Madam Boo for CP, so we had a nice catch up.
A tasty supper of cold steamed salmon, potato salad with dill dressing, and green beans with olive oil & parsley.
Had a lovely evening watching the athletics.
