Good morning from a cool and cloudy Suffolk where it seems that overnight we've had the first measurable rain in months with an actual puddle on the neighbour's shed roof.

Coffee has been had and a bowl of porridge will be nuked for breakfast within the next 15 minutes.

Is it just me but driving 220 miles to get your wedding suit fitted is a bit crazy
What about an 8 hour round trip by train just to spend 10 minutes looking at and sitting on a bike which is what I'm doing today.

Yes I noticed traffic was at a standstill when I rode over it between Earls Barton and Great Dodington, I think we have to go Wollaston later tonight and then on to Moulton park and then home so shouldn't bother us .

But thanks

Shut most of the day, apparently. Possibly a fatal ☹️

Yes I suppose that's just as bad but I have been guilty in travelling up to 40 miles to buy a bike before but I try and limit it to 20 these days.

So what are you sitting on today another Spa ?

Not Spa, I'm heading to Leeds to look at a Van Rysel - Decathlon's 'pro' brand as they have the only large size one left in the country. I'm at the very top end of medium or the very bottom end of large so really want to check the size before dropping a large sum of money.

It has features that would horrify many CycleChat members - it's not made of steel, you don't have to reach down to change gears and - even worse - the gears are operated by witchcraft

I may be visiting Spa Cycles later in the year just to buy some chainrings as I've a spare few hours in the area.
