Good morning from Suffolk where it's been a mostly cloudy start to the day with still a little bit of dampness around after overnight drizzle.

Coffee has been had ahead of a very quiet day. As dad was given early release from the hospital on Tuesday I may pop round and have a quick check to make sure all is OK and that's about it for things to do today.

In answer to the bike question...

Sleep on it. And then see how you feel in the morning.

If you can't press "buy" in the morning, just tell yourself that it was a good idea while it lasted, and that you had yourself a bit of a day out. There's absolutely nothing wrong with walking away and keeping the spendables for another time.

It's still in my online basket but that doesn't stop someone else diving in first which will solve my dilemma. Part of the problem is that I've not dropped this amount of cash on anything other than having the carpets replaced since I purchased the original Spa Elan 9 years ago. Plus there's the bike I looked at last week which is a slightly lower spec but is a mainstream brand with local back-up and I need to see that in Cyber Lime. That's viewable in London and I'll be there at the start of September...

Only 500m today but nice to get a bit done.. Not had a chance for a couple of weeks!
