Two wash loads hung out this morning then a Co-op trek for milk.
I had put on the new bike the pedals I had recently bought and put on the indoor cycling thingy. Wary of the right one never seeming to lock onto a cleat I tried and failed to remove the right pedal from the Defy: the intent being to use that instead.
Eventually set off on the new bike, up one climb and then stopped to check dismounting wasn't an issue. It was, my left shoe was locked solid to the pedal
A car driver stopped to see what the issue was and ended up undoing my shoe
Bike wheeled home with the pedal attached shoe bouncing off the pavement.
A trek to Chevin Cycles undertaken in the hope that there might be a way checking the tension of a pedal. Apparently not.
They suggested put new cleats on the shoes
Thinking instead use the left pedal off the Defy which all shoes were previously not a problem with.
