First cuppa brewing
7 miles completed with last 1 mile in torrential rain
Let's just say bits of me only got that wet in the shower.
I could hear the thunder get louder and the skies darkening as the rain got closer and then a couple of low down lightning flashes and overhead thunder claps just before the rain started.

Morning.
We had some rain this morning, about 9mm. It has stopped and the sky is clearing a bit, beige with streaks of grey cloud.
This mornings ride has been cancelled and we are meeting up in a cafe in town.

Good morning from Suffolk where the skies are as grey as my hair. It's still dry at the moment, but there's a big wodge of wetness showing on the rain radar app which is hopefully heading this way.
Coffee has been had and there's yet another update waiting to be installed on this Chromebook. I've two deliveries expected today - a small one due within the next hour which can be left behind my gate and a big one which I need to be in for which is due sometime mid afternoon. If all goes to plan I should be able to nip out and do the food and drink shopping once the rain clears through and before the big delivery which will leave Friday clear for setting up and fettling the delivery

Morning. In slightly less than mundane news, the local council has decided to start collecting paper/cardboard every two weeks again, rather than once a month to 'help' people recycle. Whooooo
Nope, you stopped collecting, so bins got rammed/we had to drive to the tip to take cardboard. They don't collect bins unless the lids are fully shut now.

Not raining yet. Decided to WFH as forecast was rubbish, most people are WFH or on holiday today, and the more important job was making sure the van is packed for holiday.
Packing the van, involved removing all the camping gear and a bike from the garage, then removing 5 seats and a 'table system' from the van, and packing the van with camping shoot. The bed system is now folded out, with 'stuff' under it. Did all this before work and before the rain hits.
Looking forward to a wet 9 days in Scotland. Bike is coming too.

Dentist appointment and as feared i need a crown as the tooth is at a stage where filling it would not be worth it as there isnt much original tooth left anyway .I suppose its lasted well as i had a root filling years ago on that tooth and i guess its just crumbled .
