Now at work. Normally I'm out in an industrial estate on the edge of town: today I'm next to the main railway station in a workshop with glass walls. The advantage of this is that it takes about a minute and a half to get from the train to work.

The moon was very bright last night . It looked like you could cycle without needing lights. Later there was an eclipse of the moon which made it look like a darker light!

A pair of 2nd hand bib shorts that I bought on the bay arrived yes. They are MG Technogym ones in dark blue to go with my dark blue K28 Fausto Coppi bike. They fit! I was a bit worried that they would be too big as they were advertised as extra large and I'm not.

So right we must have matching items,i am so impressed with my Ali Express gilet that matches my now best jersey,i am looking for another to match up with two of my three other tops.you know it's right.

Good morning from Suffolk where the blue skies and sunshine have returned. Coffee has been had and the DHL delivery instructions have been updated again after they sent yesterday's 'out for delivery' email a day early.

The fist thing to do this morning will be to carve the cardboard bike box into smaller pieces to get it into the recycling bin and then it's proper test ride and position fettling time. The bike mileage spreadsheet also needs to be amended to add in an extra column for the extra bike which will mean playing with formulas.

My energy account has been updated and, when the monthly payment is added on Tuesday, will be almost £700 in credit thanks to excess solar & battery export. I'd prefer it to be around £600 so will put in for a bit of a refund.

A month in France next, unless the NHS comes calling.

Chasing the hospital for mini ck 1 operation on tuesday as we havent had a check in time or anything , got through to the secretary of the consultant and find out that they didnt book it in the system !
Its been a lot of work getting mini ck 1 in the right frame of mind to do it and i had booked the day off for nothing so i am a tad annoyed .
