I ordered the wrong size item for the Chrysler Ypsilon, so re-ordered the correct size and the seller delivered it quickly. That's the second of three jobs needing to do completed.

However, a stem was supposed to arrive but a vintage Campag front hub did instead. Let's see what the seller does ...

My third cuppa was the best one so far today.

As I was walking around mum's local co op one of her neighbours asked me to read her gas meter so duly read and had a nice 10 minutes chatting to her .

It's been a day of fine drizzle so far and just been told a trek around Morrisons is planned for later.

Typical take bike out of shed and an immediate response almost of a heavy downpour. Think I really need to find my luggage straps to tie crank to chainstay. Obviously put them somewhere safe...

Decided to paint the exposed lounge walls Crown Cream White as per the staircase wall. Snag is the only place that seems to have stock is Wickes. Either a wait for them opening nearby in a former Magnet store, with not a lot of parking, or a 29 mile return trip.

A wonderful spell of rain nice and heavy,glad i just got home.Via a bus ride,that slight rise gets steeper each day as i get older.

Afternoon shopping trip to Morrison's was disappointing none of the special offer salmon, no fresh chocolate soya milk and then after three items the till packed up so we had to start again at another one .

Then it was raining heavily when we came out.

Afternoon hot chocolate went down well
