I've never sampled that, although I've been in their gift shop on a previous visit. Must be the most scenic setting for a distillery. I must try it.
I actually like the harder ones. Looking forward to having some Ardbeg, Laphroaig and Jura.
There's also a very good brewery that makes lovely beers.
Ironically, I've drastically reduced my alcohol consumption in the past few months and don't really have much inclination to drink now!

I've finally got round to watching the 'Road to Le Mans' support race from the Friday of the Le Mans 24hr race - the first hour was more like short oval banger racing than sports prototypes. Their late Saturday afternoon race at Silverstone in support of the ELMS series in September could be fun!

It's been a warm, humid and mostly overcast day here chez Casa Reynard.
I slept well once the painkillers kicked in, but I'm still struggling with this sinusitis flare-up. It's a while since I've had one that's been this unpleasant, and as a result, my motivation has been almost zero. Downstairs, fed the cat, made myself a
and took it upstairs to do some writing. It wasn't a particularly productive session, but it's a discipline thing.
Did the basic chores.
Had a lovely luncheon of fresh bakery bread with salami and cornichons, plus a small pot of tea.

Oh, and I bought an interesting item for my collection of Warwick brothers memorabilia on the Bay of E.
It's a limited edition print of a graphite portrait of Derek, signed by the artist. Apparently this artist quite well known for painting landscapes, and I've managed to establish that he's done at least one commission for Derek. This print dates from 1990, when Derek drove for Lotus, although I don't remember it being offered for sale BITD. My mate who's been in the book and memorabilia trade for over forty years hasn't seen one before either - he used to sell a lot of prints when he had his bricks-and-mortar shop.
Which led both of us to postulate that it was either something a sponsor commissioned to give as gifts, or something that Derek himself commissioned as a gift or promotional.
One curious detail is that the seller is based in Alresford. Now it didn't say whether this is Alresford in Essex, or Alresford in Hampshire. If it's the latter, then that could make this print potentially much more interesting. I'll find out when the package gets here.

I've been a chronic sufferer for many years (a parting gift from swine flu), and my GP trusts me enough to self-medicate when I need to, on top of the meds that I take daily as a prophylactic. I have a bunch of things that will sort it. It's rare that it gets this intrusive.
