Found in the Yorkshire hills ...
I've just been reading the FAQs about tomorrow night's hotel (a Premier Inn Hub) - it doesn't have a kettle in the room  What am I going to do without my morning cuppa? Apparently there is free tea & coffee available in the breakfast area, but I'm not going to go down there in my smalls to get one to take back to bed with me.

Take a flask?

Can I suggest that this suggestion might get @Jenkins arrested if he goes for coffee with a flask in his smalls?

I was wondering if Ineos were trying to maintain a low profile in the Vuelta as they seem to be succeeding!

It's been a humid and overcast day here chez Casa Reynard, with a few showers this afternoon.

Slept well, but still feel really awful. As a result, I've done very little today other than the very basics. Feed the cat, clean the tray, that sort of stuff. I hate being unwell.

So pleased I turned down an offer of going to the Wyvern cat club show on Saturday. I'd be struggling to steward, never mind driving to and from Solihull.

Just going to have a nice quiet evening.

...Last hotel I stayed at there was a kettle but no tea, coffee, milk, etc. So if @Jenkins wants to add a stop in Acle, there's a kettle going spare there. And here, come to think of it.

I always take a couple of Taylors coffee bags and a sachet of Options hot chocolate with me due to the poor in room offerings in most of the Travelodge/Ibis/Premier Inn/Holiday Inns that I use.

Wise. I should maybe keep a stash of decent teabags in the car for such occasions emergencies. (Tea is my favourite kickstarter in the morning.)

A quiet evening has been had, mostly spent fighting off the need for a quick snooze while digesting the bacon rolls I had for tea.

In other news I've just found out that on the way home on Friday when I get the Northern Line from Camden Town to Moorgate, I can then access the mainline Liverpool Street station via a walkway tunnel from Moorgate to the Elizabeth Line station at Liverpool Street.

I used to go to school near Moorgate (City of London). We used to carol sing at Liverpool Street station BITD.
